This one is easy because we all have spare newspaper that ends up in the garbage!!!
Instead of throwing it away, use it for compost in your yard!!
It will help you save on watering and you don't have to go out and BUY compost!

Thats what I'm going to do! Really good for weeds too! It will block weeds and yet hold moisture and nutrients in the soil for the plants you want!
